Day 52

Today was just more colouring of the ribbon. I didn't take into consideration that once I got to the part where it starts to wrap and twist and turn around Kevin and Usain that It'll take alot longer to colour in. The next part after is, again, just colouring in Kevin and Usain with the colours that I put up in the top left corner and going through each frame. 

 The other thing that I've been thinking about is whether or not to keep the black outline as part of my final product. The tutorial has you remove it but as of now, it looks good with it there along side the colour.

Another thing that didn't come to my attention until now is that the animation is 101 frames long. I didn't really think about how long this would take me but I think it'll be worth it by the end

Day 71

I have finished the animation, finally coloured every frame. I looked at past posts on the blog about this project and I found that this took from day 36, when i first loaded up the video, to now, day 71. That's just about half my time spent on this one project alone, it's kind of crazy. Here is the video, I still want to bring it into PremierPro and put the original next to the rotoscoped animation, but I'll have to do it Monday

Day - 8 Change of pace

I've decided to change what I'm doing to Advanced Photoshop techniques, It was what really intrigued me last year and I simply lost interest in The painting, i was actually getting slightly frustrated with what i was working on before I found a great tutorial for adding tattoos to skin and I'm actually pretty interested in it, the link to it is here: https://design.tutsplus.com/tutorials/use-a-tattoo-font-to-add-a-realistic-tattoo-to-a-photo-in-photoshop--cms-33434 I can tell that I'm much more capable of doing this, and it's much more exciting to do this over my last choice, I'm actually going to have some fun with this one

Day 49 - Experimentation

Today was the first day I worked with the colours, I downloaded some brushes from this website here:  https://www.brusheezy.com/free/watercolor ,  because the ones provided in the tutorial didn't work. It doesn't look that good but this kind of the testing phase of the project where I'm just going to mess around until i get something that looks like what the tutorial is showing
